WORK VALUES WORKSHOP AT FUJITSU DIE-TECH CORP. BENEFITS 400 WORKERS

Biñan, Laguna — The RCMB 4A, headed by Director Feliciano R. Orihuela, Jr., conducted a learning session on work values and attitude to employees of Fujitsu Die-Tech Corp.

“Fujitsu Die-Tech tapped the Regional Branch to strengthen their LMC through continuous labor education activities,” Orihuela said.

“The learning session was made possible thru the continuous monitoring and coordination of Supervising LEO Luzviminda de la Cruz with the company’s HR representatives and LMC officers,” he added.

In December 2015, the HR Manager requested a consultation meeting with Director Orihuela to enhance the work attitude of the employees.

“At the end of the consultation, they agreed to hold a learning session on work values and attitudes for the employees,” Orihuela said.

On 13 January 2016, the RCMB 4-A team kicked off the first learning session.

Through a workshop, the participants were made to answer a few questions that will assess their personalities.

“The participants has shown interests in the activities, they were very receptive and cooperative,” Orihuela said.

“Through the assessment, they were able to affirm their traits whether they are dominant, influential, conscientious, or a steady kind of person,” he added.

Towards the end of the workshop, Dir. Orihuela pointed out that a company needs employees that are responsible, dependable, adaptable, loyal, self-motivated, has strong work ethics, and is motivated to grow.

To wrap up the lecture, Dir. Orihuela told the participants that the first step on enhancing strengths is identifying and overcoming weaknesses.

“A person who knows his strengths and weaknesses is a true gem,” Orihuela said.

The learning session, benefitting 400 employees, will continue until the month of March.

Fujitsu Die-Tech Corp., a non-unionized company, is located at Laguna Technopark, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It has a total of 2,000 employees.
