Quezon City – The highly anticipated Twin Search for Outstanding Labor-Management Cooperation (LMC) and Grievance Machinery (GM) for Industrial Peace is set for its 2025 edition, promising to be brighter and better than ever. Following its successful run in 2023, the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) will be launching the biennial event on March 28, 2025, at 1 PM at Park Inn by Radisson Hotel in Quezon City.

This year’s Search will continue to highlight the vital roles of both LMCs and GMs in the enhancement and maintenance of harmonious labor and management relations in the workplace.

The full mechanics and criteria for judging for this year’s competition will be revealed during the launching event.

Gracing the launch to deliver the keynote speech is Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Undersecretary for Labor Relations, Policy, and International Affairs Cluster, Benedicto Ernesto Bitonio Jr., looking to underscore the government’s commitment to strengthening labor-management cooperation. Also present to share messages of support are National President of the Philippine Association on Voluntary Arbitration (PAVA) Mr. Arnel Lajada, and Dr. Gina Fe Israel, President of the Philippine League of Labor-Management Practitioners (PHILAMCOP), Inc.

NCMB Executive Director Maria Teresita Lacsamana-Cancio, along with Deputy Executive Director (DED) Teresita Audea and DED Maria Cristina Mangaliman, spearheads the launching ceremony. The directors of the Board’s branches and offices across the nation will also be in attendance at the event.

Practices and success stories of 2023 Outstanding LMC awardee, Tagum Agricultural Development Company Inc. (TADECO) from Region XI, and 2021 Outstanding GM awardee, Carmen Copper Corp. from Region VII will likewise be showcased during the event to entice attendees to join the Search.
