RCMB-NCR CONDUCTS FREE AREA-WIDE LABOR EDUCATION SEMINAR

Manila – The Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch (RCMB) NCR conducted an Area-Wide Labor Education Seminar for the Muntinlupa, Taguig, Paranaque, Las Pinas (MUNTAPARLAS) to encourage the establishment of Labor Management Councils (LMCs) and Grievance Machineries (GM) in companies with no bipartite mechanisms.

 “This cluster seminar is made possible with the coordination and partnership with A Society for Peace and Progress (ASAPP) and DOLE as part of convergence of programs,” RCMB-NCR Director Feliciano R. Orihuela, Jr. said

Speakers from the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC), Department of Labor and Employment-National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR), Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-National Capital Region (RTWPB-NCR), Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) and Regional Conciliation and Mediation Board-National Capital Region, were tapped to discuss their assigned topics.

The RCMB-NCR offers Area-wide Labor Education seminar free of charge to encourage organized and unorganized companies to look into the benefits of having an LMC and GM in their respective workplaces.

Fifty-three participants coming from 28 organized and unorganized companies attended the seminar that was held at the Eurotel Hotel located at Alabang-Zapote Road, Almanza Uno, Las Pinas City.
