Pasay City – With a vision of exploring the latest advancements in public digital governance, the Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch III (RCMB III) participated in the two-day GOVX.O Philippines Summit, held at Conrad Manila Hotel, Pasay City on March 18 to 19, 2025. Representing the Branch were Regional Director Othello Tongio, Jr., Designated Labor Information Officer Michelle Pineda, and Information Technology Focal Persons Allen Ray David and Patrick John Laxamana. National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) Research and Information Division (RID) OIC-Chief Ianne Go also joined the delegation, further strengthening the agency’s presence at the conference. 

With the need for a direct gateway for discussions on e-Government, cybersecurity, and the role of AI in governance, the GOVX.O Philippines Summit 2025 was conducted to transform the country’s public service towards cloud-based, data-driven, and citizen-centric governance.

The summit brought together over 350 officials and decision-makers from national government agencies and local government units (LGUs). Key government representatives took the stage to share insights into their digital transformation initiatives, underscoring the importance of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance efficiency in the public sector service delivery. 

Discussions centered on unlocking the Filipino digital landscape, fortifying security against cyber threats, and facilitating accessibility in a citizen-centric government. 

Experts discussed ways to create a fair and accessible data-sharing system that promotes seamless collaboration among government agencies.

The summit was marked by engaging keynote sessions, fireside chats, and panel discussions, where experts shared their perspectives on shaping a digitally empowered Philippines. Department secretaries, undersecretaries, directors, and heads of information security and cybersecurity led several topic sessions to connect and collaborate on the future of digital governance.
