Driving Progress Forward The National Conciliation and Mediation Board’s Mid-Year Performance Assessment and Re-Planning Exercise (MYPA) was successfully held at Summit Hotel, Tacloban City, from 8-11 July 2025. It served as a platform to evaluate the agency’s accomplishments for the first half of the year, identify operational gaps and challenges, and strategically align programs and initiatives for the remainder of 2025.

GENDER-FAIR MISSION. The National Conciliation and Mediation Board reaffirmed its commitment to gender equality through a GAD Capacity-Building Workshop held from June 17–20, 2025, at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay. The event brought together NCMB GAD Focal Persons nationwide to strengthen collaboration and highlight gender-inclusive practices towards gender-responsive governance.

PLATFORM FOR CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE, FOSTERING COLLABORATION, STRENGTHENING LABOR-MANAGEMENT PARTNERSHIPS. The National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) has officially launched this year’s edition of the Twin Search for Outstanding Labor-Management Cooperation (LMC) and Grievance Machinery (GM) for Industrial Peace through a ceremonial toast on March 28, at Park Inn by Radisson Hotel in Quezon City. Hall of Fame awardees from previous iterations also graced the event, sharing their stories of innovation and excellence.

MANIFESTATIONS OF TRUST; TOOLS FOR UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE. The National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) has once again teamed up with the International Labour Organization (ILO) to further strengthen industrial relations in a Consultation with Worker’ and Employers’ Organizations. Held at The B Hotel in Quezon City last April 29, 2025, the consultation-workshop aimed to promote bipartite mechanisms as mediums for industrial peace. especially at the enterprise-level.

ARM IN ARM. The National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) held a Board-wide training last January 22 to 24 to equip its SENA RFA Handlers with skills on how to utilize the newly launched information system, DOLE Assistance for Request Management System (DOLE ARMS). This allowed the participants to understand the techniques on how to process requests for assistance received online and onsite.
