“Winning the 2015 Outstanding LMC redeems the crown of The  Manor at Camp John Hay as one of the best LMC practitioners in the region,” General Manager Ramon Cabrera remarked. The hotel won the 2011 Outstanding LMC but only won special award on  strategic  partnership in 2013.

The search  for Outstanding LMC is conducted biennially by the National Conciliation and Mediation Board and the Philippine League of Labor Management Cooperation Practitioners, Inc. It aims to recognize the best workplace cooperation and partnership practices of companies in attaining industrial peace by creating and institutionalizing committees that will work hand in hand to accomplish the vision, mission, and the goals of the company.

“We will continue assisting the LMC winners in their quest to sustain  an  inclusive labor management cooperation,” remarked Director  Gil G. Carayan, who assumed the directorship of NCMB-CAR on September 8, 2015.  He vowed to sustain the excellent performance of the Branch in facilitating and institutionalizing labor management cooperation schemes in workplaces.

Meanwhile, DOLE Secretary Baldoz encouraged the participants  of  the  LMC Convention to enhance their workplace mechnisms as the latter contribute in attaining industrial peace in the country. She noticed that companies have peculiar workplace practices, which inspired the NCMB to present special awards during the national LMC convention. Cresencia M. Pawingi –  LIO, NCMB-CAR
