CALMACAVAR ELECTS NEW OFFICERS
The Cordillera Association of Labor Management Cooperation and Advocates of Voluntary Arbitration (CALMACAVAR), the region’s association of LMC-GM practitioners, announced the election of Benelita Linmipao as president of Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO) during the oath-taking ceremony at the Prince Plaza Hotel on June 8, 2018.
“I appeal to my co-officers and members as well, to continue your support to the CALMACAVAR for us to fully attain the objectives and purpose of our Association”, Linmipao said.
On the same event, CALMACAVAR took the opportunity to plan its calendar of activities for the year.
WilnaM. Baoa of the Manor was elected as Vice President for Management and Jamie B. Romero of Philex Mining Company was elected as Vice President for Labor.
Beverly Sara of the University of Baguio was elected as Secretary while Cecilia K. Pogongan of the University of the Cordilleras was elected as Treasure of CALMACAVAR.
Lilibeth B. Mannong of Hedcor, Inc. was elected as Auditor while Vencenida Windylyn Pila of the Manor and Aldwin James G. Ripalda of Bagui Country Club were elected as Business Managers.
Aside from the CALMACAVAR officers, 11 Board of Director officers were also elected.
Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch CAR Director Brenda Rose C. Odsey officiated the oath-taking of the new officers and members of board of directors.
