Metro Manila – After a successful screening, recruitment and selection process, the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) welcomed aboard the newly hired personnel during an Induction/Orientation Program for New Employees of NCMB on January 18-19, 2024 at the NCMB Central Office, Quezon City.

To formally start the event, Deputy Executive Director Maria Cristina Mangaliman warmly welcomed the participants, congratulating and wishing them to have a fantastic time working with the Board.

“We are delighted you have chosen to work here and be part of NCMB. We expect that each of you will be an asset to the Board. I also hope you would have a wonderful working experience here and mag-stay kayo ng matagal dito sa NCMB. So, congratulations and do your best,” she said.

Further, DED Mangaliman enjoined the new employees to internalize the Board’s mission, vision, mandate and core values so that they could render exemplary and noteworthy service to the public. 

The six division chiefs under the internal and technical services of the Board introduced the functions and roles of their respective divisions. Moreso, they briefed the participants of the Board’s projects and programs that are geared towards the promotion and maintenance of industrial peace.

Concluding the event, OIC-Director Marife Fausto delivered the closing remarks by reminding the new entrants to take pride in their role of supporting the Board in fulfilling its goals and objectives. She encouraged them to always give their best and to consistently deliver excellent public service.

“As public servants, we should always strive for excellence in our work and go above and beyond what is required of us,” she said. 

The two-day orientation program was organized to help the new hires get accustomed to the workplace environment and familiarize themselves with the organizational policies, initiatives and core programs of the Board. 

Additionally, it served as a means for the Board to equip its employees with the necessary knowledge and competencies required to serve clients’ needs with proficiency and excellence.
