The month-long celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), spearheaded by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), commemorates the establishment of the Philippine Civil Service. This year’s theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes” was introduced in 2021 by CSC as its 10-year overarching theme. The theme echoes the collective experiences of the government workforce in the new normal, and in pushing for digital transformation and innovations to uphold public service excellence and continuity.
In support of this year’s celebration, the National Conciliation and Mediation Board-Central Office (NCMB-CO) conducted activities in line with the following sub-themes of the celebration:
Linggo ng Lingkod Bayani – The NCMB-CO personnel participated in the Zumba dance workouts scheduled during the four (4) Mondays of September for thirty (30) minutes. Three (3) Filipino movies and short films were shown to promote appreciation for local films.

Linggo ng Malasakit at Pasasalamat. – As an expression of the Board’s appreciation on the hard work and dedication to public service of the Central Office personnel, visits to the GSIS Museo ng Sining and AFP Museum, and conduct of the Agency Official Fun Day provided the employees workplace recreation that alleviated pressures from work and enhanced camaraderie. The visits to the museum heightened the employees’ appreciation for Philippine art, culture and history, and increased awareness of the country’s military history and military development through various eras of Philippine history.
