Jab Well Done for NCMB
Metro Manila – Since the start of the pandemic, the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) has implemented several health and safety protocols for the wellbeing of its employees, visitors and clients. This was further intensified with the issuance of Memorandum Circular No. 96 series of 2022 by the Office of the President instructing government agencies and instrumentalities to be fully operational regardless of the alert level protocol. For areas under Alert Level 1, including Metro Manila, government agencies and instrumentalities shall adhere to the 100% onsite workforce.
In compliance with the said Memorandum Circular and considering the alert level in Metro Manila, several memorandums and office orders concerning health and safety measures were issued to ensure the safety of its employees.
With the additional 14 newly hired personnel, the Board has now obtained a 98.98% vaccination rate for its 197 personnel as of 31 July 2022. This covers the primary vaccine series for 1st and 2nd doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Among those who have received their primary dose of vaccine, 167 or 85.64% already have had their 1st booster shot, however, only 23 or 13.77% had their 2nd booster shot for COVID-19 vaccine.
In terms of the COVID-19 incidence rate, the NCMB has 36% or 71 out of its 197 personnel who have had a history of COVID-19 infection since the onset of the pandemic.
While health and safety measures and protocols are still strictly being enforced nationwide within the Board, it continuously takes steps to mitigate and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus which includes practicing social distancing, wearing of facemask around co-workers and the general public, hand hygiene, and encouraging the use of virtual online services relative to the Board’s program implementation.
As always, it is a ‘jab’ well done for NCMB!
