Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch III Director Edgar G. Aquino commended the Subic Bay Workforce Development Foundation, Inc. for giving recognition to Ten Outstanding Freeport Workers and bestowing the Good Corporate Governance during its annual awarding held on November 25, 2016 at Cinema-4, Ayala Harbor Pt., Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

“The awardees must step up to the challenge of inspiring others,” Aquino added.

The Ten Outstanding Freeport Workers Awards program aims to recognize and reward the commitment, innovativeness, service and performance excellence of employees/workers, as well as to motivate and increase work satisfaction levels. It was founded by SBMA Labor Department President, Atty. Severo C. Pastor, Jr. and was successfully launched in April 2001.

The awardees were screened and judged by a Panel of Judges chaired by RCMB III Director Edgar G. Aquino. Schools Division Office, Olongapo City Officer-In-Charge Bernadette F. Tamayo, CESO VI, and TESDA Provincial Director Virginia M. Bondoc.

They were chosen based on excellent client/customer service that resulted in the creation of significant client and organizational value; excellent performance in a project or similar undertaking, personal dedication and commitment to the Company/Organization, motivation and commitment to the Freeport’s culture, social spirit and strategic directions, development of innovative ideas/concepts, and exceptional leadership or achievements.

The awardees were Dennis B. Pablo of Cresc Incorporated, Mark Dwin B. Alqueza of Dunbrae Subic, Catherine M. Bondoc of FBM Systems & Electronics, Inc., Alberto A. Manuel, Jr. of Mega Subic Terminals Services, Inc., Segio O. Ontuca of Mondriaan Aura College, Nhoel R. Pulido of Nicera Philippines, Inc., Jeaneth A. Alvarez of Phi. Coastal Storage & Pipeline Corp., Markhenson P. Calunod of Subic Duty Free Shop, Inc., Rolinda D. Escaño of Subic Water & Sewerage Company, Inc., and Riza M. Gallardo of Wistron Infocomm Philippines Corp.

PTT Philippines Trading Corporation was awarded in recognition of its Good Corporate Governance.

The awarding ceremonies were graced by the presence SBMA Chairman and Head of Agency Martin B. Diño, Atty. Randy B. Escolongco, Officer-In-Charge of the Office of the Administrator & CEO, SBMA, and Atty. Severo C. Pastor, Jr., SBWDFI President.
