Twenty-one representatives from the union affiliates of the National Federation of Labor Unions-Kilusang Mayo Uno (NAFLU-KMU) from the sugar, transportation, retail and service industries attended the learning session on the Workers’ Organization Development Program of the DOLE-NIR held on November 24-25, 2016 at the SWDC DOLE-NOCFO in Bacolod City.

Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch VI represented by Conciliator-Mediator Atty. Marryknol Lourdes T. Arsenio discussed the topic of Workers’ Productivity.

In her discussion, Atty. Arsenio reminded the participants of the role of the workers in the growth of their respective companies. She emphasized the importance of efficiency and effectivity at the workplace in order to be productive in the performance of their tasks. Arsenio also stressed the need to innovate to improve procedures.

LEO III Robert Onde provided a meaningful talk on the Labor Laws Compliance System. LEO II Ma. Zyrene M. Prietos discussed the Child Labor Elimination Program while Supervising LEO Ninfa A. Jereos facilitated the learning session on Basic Rights of Workers and Management Prerogative.
