The National Conciliation and Mediation Board and the Cordillera Association of Labor and Management Corporation and Advocates of Voluntary Arbitration (CALMACAVAR) jointly organized the first CALMACAVAR-NCMB Cup to strengthen the bond and camaraderie among the members of the association through a month long sports festival held in the month of December in Baguio City.

Twenty-one establishments coming from the Mt. Province, Benguet and Baguio City participated in the different sports category of the sports festival.

DepEd, Red Cross Baguio and private individuals participated in the darts tournament.

The winners of the different categories were BENECO for basketball, TP Café-Abanao for darts, and UC, SN Aboitiz, BENECO, and The Manor dominated the different categories in the fun run.

BAVESCO ended University of Baguio’s six year reign in Bowling after snatching the gold in the 7th Bowling Tournament.

The one month long sports festival also served as a fund-raising activity for the CALMACAVAR to support their projects and activities for 2017.

The awarding ceremonies was held on 16 December 2016.
