 4^th Area Wide Seminar in IVB highlights Labor Law Compliance

Puerto Princesa City—The Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch IVB, in collaboration with the DOLE Regional Coordinating Council members and the Palawan Industrial Peace Advocates (PIPA), conducted its 4^th area wide seminar at Best Western Plus, The Ivy Wall Hotel, Rizal Avenue Extension, Puerto Princesa, Palawan.  

The one-day seminar highlighted the latest issuances of the Department of Labor and Employment on the new Labor Laws Compliance System and the salient features of the Batas Kasambahay.

Other topics discussed in the seminar were updates on programs and services offered by the Employees Compensation Commission.

Nickel Asia Inc. Training Manager Cyrus Dabon facilitated the learning session on Leading Without a Title where he emphasized the inherent nature of people to lead, power to show leadership through a great desire to be involved, and be committed to make a positive difference.

The area wide seminar was attended by 54 participants representing employees and management of establishments in the region.
