Imus City, Cavite – In keeping with its mission to serve its clientele across the region, the Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch IV-A (RCMB IV-A) officially opened a new satellite office in Cavite on December 11, 2024. This initiative is the result of a successful tripartite partnership among RCMB IV-A, the local government of Imus City, and Liwayway Marketing Corporation marking the culmination of months of consultation, collaboration and strategic planning.
The event commenced with a Thanksgiving Mass presided over by the parish priest of Imus City Fr. Manny Villas, followed by the blessing of the office and its premises. RCMB IV-A Director Cynthia Foncardas, former Imus City Administrator Tito Monzon, and representatives from Liwayway Marketing Corporation, Ms. Julie Almazen and Ms. Marilou Lazona, led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
Subsequently, Mr. Tito Monzon extended a warm welcome and expressed the gratitude of Mayor Advincula to RCMB for selecting Imus City as the home of its new office. He also underscored the significance of the partnership especially with the activation of the City Tripartite Industrial Peace Council, which will further strengthen collaboration in fostering peaceful labor relations.
The Branch engaged the local government of Imus City to explore opportunities for securing an accessible and client-friendly office space, prioritizing cost efficiency in light of the escalating rental rates in the area. Under the leadership of the current Imus City Mayor, an office space was allocated on the ground floor of the City of Imus Polytechnic Institute (CIPI) at no cost to the Board.
In her remarks, Director Foncardas reflected on the historical importance of the Cavite Satellite Office in Imus City, which has been serving the region for 27 years. She highlighted the office’s significant contributions to fostering harmonious relationships between workers and management in Cavite. She also expressed her sincere gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Imus and Liwayway Marketing Corporation for their generous support, which included the provision of office space and logistical assistance.
This new RCMB IV-A office in Cavite stands as a testament to the Board’s unwavering commitment to serving the public proactively, effectively, and efficiently, ensuring that employees and employers alike will continue to benefit from their regional service delivery.
