RCMB-CAR AND CALMACAVAR CONDUCT JOINT LEARNING SESSION
The Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and the Cordillera Association of Labor Management Cooperation and Advocates of Voluntary Arbitration (CALMACAVAR) conducted a learning session on “Understanding Laws and Policies that Affect the Workplace” on June 7-8, 2018 at the Prince Plaza Hotel, Legarda Rd., Baguio City to further strengthen the cooperation and partnership among workers and employers in the Region.
“The seminar covered Republic Act 10963 or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, Enhancing Work Value System, and Mitigating Workplace Discrimination,” RCMB-CAR Director Brenda Rose C. Odsey said.
Revenue Officers Atty. Donna Ngoslab and Claire Regala from the Bureau of Internal Revenue discussed the TRAIN LAW its nuances and effects.
Human Resource Consultant Dr. Grace Canave elaborated the styles and approaches on discovering and developing personal values in the organization.
Eighty six (86) participants from different social partners in the region joined in this activity.
